Our goal is to ensure you are provided with a comprehensive and individualised clinical diagnosis supported by advice and treatment recommendations to address your specific dental needs.        Our goal is to ensure patient concerns are clearly identified and individually addressed, specific to particular clinical presentation and requirement. Each patient requirement is approached by first establishing an overview of the presenting dental and oral health status. Essential functional considerations such as chewing, speech requirements and individual appearance issues form a central part of each consultation. Based on the patient’s diagnosis and needs analysis, appropriate treatment recommendations are made, these recommendations are communicated through individual discussion and a written report.        Following completion of a detailed analysis of the presenting problems and the provision of appropriate advice, every effort is then made to remove barriers to patients receiving their dental treatment requirements.        This includes patient treatment scheduling (how much time will be required to complete the treatment and the frequency of appointments for the completion of care) and costs of the proposed dental treatment. Recommended patient treatment interventions are provided in a safe and well managed environment. If further specialist referrals are required, these will be arranged in a coordinated manner, as part of the overall treatment care plan. Beacon Dental Clinic draws on an extensive network of allied dental and medical specialist expertise to enhance treatment outcomes for our patients.        Our Clinicians          Dr Edward Owens is the Director of the Beacon Dental Clinic and is a clinical specialist in Prosthodontics (Restorative) and Implant Dentistry. He has been a qualified Prosthodontist following specialist certification in 1994. The oral surgery service is comprehensive & includes the assessment of individualised patient needs. Patient care assessment includes the utilisation of diagnostics & dental scanning (where indicated) to fully assess each patient’s clinical needs. The service includes the removal of decayed or impacted teeth & dental supernumeraries, the treatment of soft and hard tissue abnormalities, patient bone grafting and dental implant assessment & placement.
